Happy New Year! Gong Xi Fa Cai! Gong Hey Fat Choy! Cleaning out your closets? Parca especially needs clothing, shoes and small, usable household items. SEE A FULL LIST OF WHAT WE ACCEPT BELOW. Your donation helps people with developmental disabilities in the San Francisco Bay Area!  Call for a listing of pick-up dates in your area!  Our truck will pick up usable items in good condition located within 30 feet of where the truck can safely park. Parca welcomes most donated items, but there are some items that we regrettably must turn down.  All items must be in wearable/working condition. Parca accepts vehicle donations too!

  • Camping Equipment (40 lbs. or less)
  • Vacuum Cleaners (remove bag)

  • Arts and Crafts Items
  • Bicycles (in working condition)
  • Electric Heaters, Fans and Table Lamps
  • Glassware, Dishes, China
  • Jewelry, Knick-Knacks
  • Luggage
  • Pictures
  • Pots, Pans, Silverware
  • Small Household Items (clocks, vases, etc.)
  • Sporting Goods (balls, racquets, gloves, etc.)
  • Stereos, Radios, VCR's, DVD's, etc.
  • Small Electronic Items

  • Readable Books (fiction, biography, travel ,coffee table )

Donation drop-off locations
Through a partnership with Saver's Stores, Parca is able to turn used clothing and household item donations into the funds we need to operate our programs. You may drop-off your donations of clothing and usable household items at any Saver's Thrift Store at the following locations:

  • Car parts/seats
  • Carpets, area rugs
  • Aquariums, jars
  • Lawn mowers
  • Mirrors
  • Toilets, bedside commodes
  • Recyclable items (cans, paper, etc.)
  • Venetian blinds, wire hangers, drapery rods/valances
  • Food
  • Gym equipment, skis, trophies
  • Large musical instruments (pianos, etc.)
  • Ping pong or pool tables
  • Personal video tapes
  • Baby strollers, cribs, gates, infant/toddler car seat, etc.
