Cedar Street House is an assisted living residence for adults with developmental disabilities. Residents receive independent living skills training in order to learn how to:

• perform personal care tasks
• perform household duties in a group living setting
• use public transportation
• find recreational opportunities
• find employment or an appropriate day program

Cedar Street House is a four-bedroom house located at 721 Cedar Street in San Carlos . It is owned and operated by Parca with the assistance of the California Rental Housing Construction program. It accommodates eight adult men and women ages 18-59. There is a staff to client ratio of one to three on weekdays from 3 PM to 10 PM and 24-hour supervision on weekends. Clients participate in off-site day programs or individual employment on weekdays.

All Cedar Street House counselors are required to have a college degree in a related field or extensive related experience. They must be trained in CPR and first aid. Cedar is a licensed level 3 residential facility #410507207. Care is subsidized by regional centers and Supplemental Security Income.
