Shawna Droese - Active of the Year
We are thrilled to announce Shawna Droese as our Active of the Year! Shawna has served the Auxiliary in many roles since she joined in 2006, as a former Vice President of Membership, Vice President of Program Services, Vice Chair of Decorations and Vice Chair of High Donor Events. Along with her husband Michael, Shawna also supports the Auxiliary through their San Mateo store, Steiner’s Jewelry. From hosted parties to the annual Luncheon raffle for a jewelry- shopping spree, Steiner’s is always helping the Auxiliary. You could say that Shawna is carrying on a family tradition of community service, as her mother, Mary Pulley was an original member (and President) of the first Parca Auxiliary. We congratulate Shawna as she always strives to give the Auxiliary her very best and is willing to lend a hand in any way she can!

Debbie Bocci - Sustainer of the Year
We are proud to honor our Sustainer of the Year, Debbie Bocci. Debbie, one of the original Founders of the Auxiliary, has selflessly dedicated her time and energy to the Auxiliary since its inception - 23 years ago. Last year she served on the Auxiliary Board as Sustainer Liaison where she continued to play an invaluable role in helping the Auxiliary remain relevant and one of the most important fundraising organizations on the Peninsula. The Auxiliary has greatly benefited from her valuable insights, ideas and perspective that can only come from having been an integral player in the Auxiliary since the beginning. We are proud to honor Debbie as Sustainer of the Year!

 

Meet our 2012 Luncheon Co-Chairs
The Parca Auxiliary is excited to announce and introduce our 2012 "Luncheon in the Serengeti" co-chairs,
Tara Klein and Liat Bishko .

 

 

 

Tara Klein
Tara joined the Parca Auxiliary in 2009. After her provisional year, she partnered with Liat Bishko to serve as Vice President, co-chairing the Auction. This year she will be the Vice President of Events, co-chairing the 2012 Luncheon. Tara is a freelance consultant specializing in corporate communications and public relations for technology companies. She is married with two daughters and a son.
Liat Bishko
Liat joined the Parca Auxiliary in 2009 shortly after moving with her family from New York City. She has been on the Board for two years, serving first as Vice President co-chairing the Auction for the 2011 luncheon and is currently Vice President of Events co-chairing the 2012 luncheon. Liat is an investment professional specializing in Real Estate. She is married and has a daughter and a son.
