Parca’s SLS program is based on the agency’s view that people with developmental disabilities need to be supported, not served. Parca provides an array of services that are available to anyone who desires facilitation, instruction, support and assistance to live in the home of his or her choice. This is the care of supported living services as defined by the California Department or Developmental Services.

This includes but is not limited to:

• Assistance with recruitment and supervision of personal attendants
• Accessing leisure activities
• Accessing translators or interpreters
